Services to Members and Community

Northmont cares not only about its own members, but the wider community. That's why in addition to services we provide to our own members, we share our building and resources will various community groups.

AARP Chapter #2991 Meets 3rd Thursday (except summer), 11am
Alcoholics Anonymous Meets Sundays, 6:30pm
Boy & Cub Scout Troops #335 Meets Mondays, 7pm

Northmont Preschool and Child Development Center: state certified day care and pre-school for children 6 weeks to 6 years, operating out of the basement of our Christian Education wing. Pre-registration required.

Church Library: located on the second floor across from the church offices, open daily 8:30am-4:30pm and on Sunday mornings. Feel free to check out a book or video!

Stephen Ministry: a one-on-one confidential lay ministry to individuals experiencing crisis. Our Stephen ministers also provide hospital and shut-in visitation, and administer Communion at Manorcare Nursing Home. If you would like a trained Christian caregiver to work with you, or if you'd like to become a Stephen Minister, contact the pastor.

Prayer Chain: a group of individuals who pray each week for people and issues concerning our congregation. Contact Bill Goff to join the chain, or the church office if you want them to pray for you.

Participation/Ministry Opportunities include: Librarian, Stephen Minister, Prayer Chain member.
