Don joined Northmont in April 2007 as interim pastor.  Don grew up in Glendale, PA outside of Philadelphia, where he was active in Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church.  Don has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from University of Pennsylvania and M. Div. and Doctorate of Ministry degrees from Pittsburgh Seminary.  Don has three grown children - Jeff, James, and Julie, and has seven grandchildren.  Don's wife, Lin, is a PhD psychologist on the medical staff at Pitt doing research in behavioral medicine.  Lin also has a private counseling practice.  Don enjoys woodworking, is a master at rowing (crew), enjoys singing, and is teaching himself recorder (the musical instrument).

Mandi joined the Northmont Staff in June 2007. Mandi grew up in Irwin, PA, and was active in the First Presbyterian Church of Irwin. Mandi has degrees from Geneva College in Youth Ministry and Speech Communication. Mandi graduated from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in May 2006 with a Master of Divinity and two awards for preaching. Mandi plays the guitar and likes to sing. She is married to Matt who works as a software engineer for Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute. They live in Dormont with their dog, Tessa, and enjoy taking Tessa to dog agility training classes (jumping through hoops and running through tunnels).

Prior to joining Northmont, Sean graduated from Geneva College in December of 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Student Ministries. He has had three youth interims, one with Penn Hills Alliance Church (his home con-gregation), one with East End Cooperative Ministry in Pittsburgh, and one with Shadyside Presbyterian Church. Sean has been active in camps taking young people on trips to Laurelville, PA and Surf City, MI., both run by Pittsburgh Youth Network.

Nadia is in her second of three years at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary fulfilling her Field Education requirements through service with the youth and children's ministries as well as helping with worship. She enjoys the outdoors and loves to rock climb, kayak, and hike. She graduated from Westminster College in 2006 with a double major in Christian Education and Music. She is looking forward to her third and final year at seminary as well as getting married in May of 2008.
