| Pastor | Rev. Dr. John J. Lolla | Rev. Lolla comes to Northmont from the Presbyterian Church of Plum Creek Borough where he served for 26 years. Before that time he was an assistant minister at the Southminster Presbyterian Church in Mt. Lebanon. Dr. Lolla is a 1976 graduate of The College of Wooster with a major in religion. He received his M.Div. from Princeton Seminary in 1980. In 1994, he received his D.Min. with his dissertation on "The Rule of the Resurrection in Creating Christian Identity." During his 29 years of ordination, Dr. Lolla has been active in the Pittsburgh Presbytery serving on a wide range of committees and councils. Dr. Lolla is married to Julie Else from Pittsburgh's North Hills. Their daughters, Meredith Hedeen and Carolyn Paletta are married and live locally. The Lollas' have two grandchilren. |
| Minister of Music | Todd Alexander | A native of southwestern Pennsylvania, Todd began serving the church through music ministry at a young age. He holds a Bachelor of Sacred Music from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL, and a Master of Sacred Music in organ performance from Emory University, Atlanta, GA. Before coming to Northmont, Todd served at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Elgin, IL, Holy Cross Anglican Church, Loganville, GA, and First Presbyterian Church, Macon, GA Todd's other interests include church history and theology, biking, hiking, camping, and playing with his kids. Todd's wife, Andria, is also a musician who, like Todd, graduated from the Moody Bible Institute. They have two sons, Joel and Nathan. |
