Our mission is to reach out in Christian discipleship to people throughout the world, in our community, and within our congregation through caring ministry, spiritual growth and Christian fellowship.
Experience the Northmont Feeling at our worship services in a greeter's warm handshake on Sunday; as you share a potluck dinner at our many fellowship dinners; as you volunteer to take a meal to a shelter; as the congregation pledges its family support at baptisms; as we install our new members three times yearly. That Northmont Feeling is also in the many community groups which use our facilities on a regular basis.

Great Heritage
A congregation of the Presbyterian Church, USA, Northmont
has a rich and varied history in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. Chartered in 1926
as The Community United Presbyterian Church of Highland, our building
has undergone two major expansions since moving to its present location
in 1940. In 1962,we changed our name to Northmont UPC, and currently
have around 700 active members.

Awesome Future
Northmont continues to grow and meet the changing needs of
its members and the community. Northmont provides several Sunday School options
for all ages. There are opportunities for all at Northmont ranging from helping with Northmont's local mission work, like building a house for someone who cannot afford to rebuild after storm damage or fire, or serving meals to shut-ins or at the men's shelter. Or help provide spiritual care and comfort for those in need by joining our strong Stephen Ministry program. Or if you're musical, join our chancel choir, bell choir, or contemporary praise band. Or join our vibrant youth group and join in fun activities, Bible study, or just hang out with other students and young adults who are growing together in their faith. There's something for everyone at Northmont.
