Deacons

Deacons, chosen by the people, are called to ministries of sympathy, witness and service after the example of Jesus Christ. It is the duty of deacons, first of all, to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress both within and beyond the community of faith.

Flowers - Celebrate an occasion, honor a loved one, or remember someone special with flowers on the church chancel. Sign up on the calendar outside of the church office, or you can contact Cathy Koehler. Someone will contact you prior to your date and you will be billed afterward. You can choose to take your flowers home after the 11:00 service, or you can choose to donate them. Donated arrangements will go to our hospitalized and homebound members.

Members of Special Concern - In addition to visiting and writing to the homebound, the Deacons actively maintain a prayer list and support a military project in which the entire church participates.
