PRAYER TIME BEFORE WORSHIP: Lord of wondrous patience, the earth has risen again, emerging from a darkness in a way it has never quite been before, alive with possibilities. You have placed resurrection in my life too. Nurture me in newness, set me free from the tyrannies of habit and blaming. THE NORTHSIDE COMMON MINISTRIES FOOD PANTRY continues to need help with periodic supplemental food drives to meet the needs of the 500+ families it serves each month. After both services today grocery bags labeled with needed non-perishable food will be passed out. Please fill each bag with $5 - $10 of needed foods, and return them to the church library by Sunday, May 6th. Prior food drives have averaged +/- 1600 pounds. Can we reach a ton of foodstuffs? The Mission Ministry and Northside Common Ministries thank you for all that you do.
