PRAYER TIME BEFORE WORSHIP: Lord God, you are beyond my comprehension and understanding, yet you seem very near.  I know that I am easily frightened by events over which I have no control.  Lord, give me steadiness to hang on to hope in spite of my fears.  Give me openness to listen to the voice of others in spite of their strangeness. Give me commitment to those things in which I believe, to affirm them in the face of opposition.  I know I can ask for these things, O God, because you have promised them in Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Rob is pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Bryan, Ohio.  A native of North Versailles, PA, Rob is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh (Economics and Business) and the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (M. Div.).  Rob and his wife, Beth, have three daughters – Nicole, Rachel and Abigail.

YOU CAN’T DRIVE ANYMORE? The church steps are getting to be too much for you. You  can’t get the medicine cap off the medicine bottle. You feel frustrated because you can’t do these things, and you’ve always been very independent. A Stephen Minister would like to listen.
