Social Groups

Adult fellowship and service strengthen our faith in God and our bonds with each other. That’s why Northmont has a number of social groups for a wide range of interests and ages, including singles and couples.

Spectrums
Ages 20 to 40+.
Meet monthly.
Activities range from miniature golf outings to Halloween parties, ice cream socials, and an annual Christmas gathering.

Beacons
Ages 45 to 60+.
Meet monthly.
Line dancing, attending plays and concerts, trips to Oktoberfest, and a holiday season progressive dinner are among the activities the Beacons have enjoyed. The Beacons also prepare the annual Northmont Congregation Luncheon.

Triangles
Mostly retired, ages 55+.
Meet the third Friday of each month.
Activities have included picnics, banquets, trips to Ogelbay, and regular potluck dinners with programs.

Dinner for Eight
Groups of eight randomly assigned singles and couple meet four times a year in individual members’ homes for dinner.

Knit-Wits
Women who enjoy knitting and crocheting meet each Wednesday at 9:30 AM to make items for the benefit of those in need.
